We mentioned in last months edition of The Clay Factory Diaries that we had lots to look forward to in 2018. One of the things we touched upon was the upcoming launch of the Cinema For All scheme in the South West.
It all started late in 2017 with a phone call to see whether the scheme had any provision in the local area as we were looking for cinema equipment at the time. Usually when you hear a ‘no’ when enquiring about something you tend to leave the conversation where it is, but on this particular occasion, we decided to explain about the local area and how there might be a need for the Cinema For All scheme in the South West. A conversation started, one thing led to another and here we are.
For those that don’t know Cinema For All is the national support and development organisation for community-led cinema: community cinemas, film clubs and societies. Since 1946 they have been helping communities across the country to develop and sustain the type of film screenings they want.
It’s a great scheme that is about helping communities come together and we are pleased to officially partner with them meaning from 24th of March 2018 their cinema equipment will be available to hire from The Clay Factory.
To celebrate this we are hosting a special launch screening of The Florida Project, entrance is free of charge and this is a great chance for people to not only engage with the scheme but to see a critically acclaimed film in a truly unique environment. As ever with a Clay Factory event, there will be drinks and nibbles provided by RedPod Food and Cinema For All will be onsite to answer questions on the day. This is a ticketed event so make sure you book well in advance!!!
Cinema For All launch screening of The Florida Project will take place on March 24th, 3pm – 6pm. To book a ticket email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.theclayfactory.co.uk. To find out more about Cinema For All visit
