I bet you are all fed up with being wished happy new year so we’re not going to go there! The weather is cold, the days are short, Christmas is a distant memory and do you know what? We’re loving it.
There’s nothing like the heralding of a new year to make you stop and take stock at the previous year’s achievements. 2017 was a big year for us, we officially launched in July with our month-long Emergence event, we held two open studios with RedPod Arts and opened up RedPod Food Pop Up Lunches. We even found the time to squeeze in a cinema screening as part of our Christmas activities.
The new year is also an opportunity to look forward and we’re unbelievably positive about what is being planned for this year. We have some extremely exciting developments as we are set to become a partner in the Cinema For All Scheme, which not only means we’ll be able to host more unique cinema events at The Clay Factory but also that other community groups in the area will have access to cinema equipment.
We are currently busy implementing plans to take the project onto the next phase of development and we expect the first months of the year we’ll be busy getting the site ready for the next wave of events. While all this is happening we’re still open to the public every Wednesday and Friday so we invite you to continue joining us for RedPod Food Pop Up Lunches.
RedPod Arts are also set for a big year in 2018 as we already have two major art events planned for May and September as well some potential art workshops. Those of you familiar with The Clay Factory Diaries will know that developments move quickly up the lane by the big chimney so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more news next month.
RedPod Food Pop Up Lunches take place every Wednesday and Friday from 12.30 to 14.00 to book email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit
