FILM & FOOD CLUB @ THE CLAY FACTORY
      Fun fuelled family mayhem

Those that know us well will know that we very recently partnered with the national Cinema For All scheme which means that we’re now able to show regular community cinema events here at The Clay Factory. The ethos is simple, we ask you which classic film you’d like to see and you decide via our polls on Facebook.

We then set up a pop-up cinema in our wonderful building, RedPod Food cook up some delicious cinema snacks and we all get together to have a good time.

So it gives us great delight to announce that the first poll has ended and our first official film of The Clay Factory Film and Food Club 2018 is going to be….

      FAQs

      Where can I buy tickets?

What is included in the ticket price?

The ticket price entitles you admittance to the film screening.

Food, drinks and snacks are not included in the price of the ticket.

What is the age classification of the film?

The Goonies is rated at a 12 classification. The BBFC definition of 12 film classification is as follows:

Films classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Adults planning to take a child under 12 to view a 12A film should consider whether the film is suitable for that child. To help them decide, we recommend that they check the BBFCinsight for that film in advance. No one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video work.

Is this a family friendly screening?

Children are welcome but we request that you take into consideration the age classification of the film before bringing children to the screening as the film does contain themes that could be deemed scary for some children. We would also request that all under 16’s are accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring my own food into the screening?

We would prefer you not to bring your own drinks and snacks, we are a social enterprise set up to help make the charity The Eddystone Trust more sustainable and depend on the revenue raised from our events to help make this possible.

Will there be tickets on the door?

There will limited tickets on the door, as a result, it is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

      Is your venue wheelchair friendly?

We are wheelchair friendly, we have a range of different access points and portable ramps to make sure visitors with access needs can be accommodated – the best thing to do would be to contact us prior to the event to make sure we are ready to assist on the day.

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?

The Clay Factory is accessible by car, we’re just a hop and skip from the A38 as we’re situated on the outskirts of Ivybridge which means we’re easy to get to from Exeter, Torbay, Totnes, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Cornwall and surrounding areas.
