Film & Food Club Presents The Sound Of Music
FILM & FOOD CLUB @ THE CLAY FACTORY
The Clay Factory is alive with The Sound of Music
The latest film poll results are in, and for May we pitted The Sound of Music vs The Wizard of Oz. It was a close call but it gives us great pleasure to announce that for the second edition of The Clay Factory Film & Food Club we will be showing….
The Sound of Music
The Sound of Music is a heartwarming story inspired by the true life events surrounding the Von Trapp Family in Austria before the start of World War 2. The film is a firm favourite of many and this screening is a fantastic chance to see the film in a new setting and who knows… maybe even have a sing a song or two.
This really is going to be a special cinema treat, numbers are limited and this really is an event you, your friends and family will not want to miss!!!
Tickets cost just £5 for an adult and £3 for children plus booking fee.
When: May 19th 2018 | 6pm-8pm

FAQs
Where can I buy tickets?
What is included in the ticket price?
The ticket price entitles you admittance to the film screening.
Food, drinks and snacks are not included in the price of the ticket.
What is the age classification of the film?
The Sound of Music is rated as a U classification. The BBFC definition of U film classification is as follows:
A U film should be suitable for audiences aged four years and over, although it is impossible to predict what might upset any particular child.
U films should be set within a positive framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror. If a work is particularly suitable for pre-school children, this will be indicated in the BBFC insight.
Is this a family friendly screening?
Children are welcome but we request that you take into consideration the age classification of the film before bringing children to the screening as the film does contain themes that could be deemed scary for some children. We would also request that all under 16’s are accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring my own food into the screening?
We would prefer you not to bring your own drinks and snacks, we are a social enterprise set up to help make the charity The Eddystone Trust more sustainable and depend on the revenue raised from our events to help make this possible.
Will there be tickets on the door?
There will limited tickets on the door, as a result, it is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Is your venue wheelchair friendly?
We are wheelchair friendly, we have a range of different access points and portable ramps to make sure visitors with access needs can be accommodated – the best thing to do would be to contact us prior to the event to make sure we are ready to assist on the day.
What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?
The Clay Factory is accessible by car, we’re just a hop and skip from the A38 as we’re situated on the outskirts of Ivybridge which means we’re easy to get to from Exeter, Torbay, Totnes, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Cornwall and surrounding areas.
The Clay Factory is also accessible by public transport, there are several bus services that pass by the venue including the Gold bus which travels through Torbay, Totnes, Ivybridge and Plymouth.
