      CARNAGE
It's World Vegan Month, so to celebrate we are hosting a special vegan screening of the highly acclaimed Simon Amstell film (made for the BBC), Carnage. The year is 2067, the UK is vegan, but older generations are suffering the guilt of their carnivorous past. Simon Amstell asks us to forgive them for the horrors of what they swallowed in this humorous and uniquely witty mockumentary. This is a free film screening and a chance to engage with/celebrate veganism in a unique way. This really is going to be a special cinema treat, numbers are limited and this really is an event you, your friends and family will not want to miss!!!
      Film & Food Club
The Clay Factory Film & Food Club is fast becoming a community cinema event not to be missed, the emphasis is around presenting world class cinema to audiences in a unique environment, whilst enjoying wholesome plant-based food to bring people together for a positive shared experience. Thanks to the Cinema For All Scheme we have been showing films in our unique venue for nearly a year now and here's what some of our guests have to say about us... "Fantastic venue. We went to watch The Goonies, two adults and two children. The screen was brilliant, it was fantastic value in an amazing space (particularly the sofa, snuggled under the blankets!), and the snacks from Red Pod were delicious. We will be back!" "Fantastic afternoon with friends and kids watching goonies under blankets with wonderful snacks. It’s a very relaxed and friendly place. Can't wait to go again."

FAQs Where can I buy tickets?

What is included in the ticket price?

The ticket price of the ticket entitles you admittance for curry club. Cinema snacks are not included in the price of the ticket.

What is the age classification of the film?

This film is unclassified as it is a BBC film and therefore not a theatrical release, children can attend at their parents discretion. We would probably advise not allowing children under the age of 12 into the screening unaccompanied by an adult.

Is this a family friendly screening?

Only children accompanied by an adult may attend.

Can I bring my own food into the screening?

We would prefer you not to bring your own drinks and snacks, we are a social enterprise set up to help make the charity The Eddystone Trust more sustainable and depend on the revenue raised from our events to help make this possible.

Will there be tickets on the door?

There will limited tickets on the door, as a result, it is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

      Is your venue wheelchair friendly?

We are wheelchair friendly, we have a range of different access points and portable ramps to make sure visitors with access needs can be accommodated - the best thing to do would be to contact us prior to the event to make sure we are ready to assist on the day.

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?

The Clay Factory is accessible by car, we're just a hop and skip from the A38 as we're situated on the outskirts of Ivybridge which means we're easy to get to from Exeter, Torbay, Totnes, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Cornwall and surrounding areas.
